Colour Komodo Dragon.

This outfit features two articles in my wardrobe I am consistantly obsessed with; an Urban Renewal trench that I tried on whim and purchased for $10 three and half years ago. I feel like Carmen San Diego and Inspector Gadget's ultra cool lovechild when I where it. The other piece is a Wilfred fedora that my friend Andy gave to me. It may be my most complimented chapeau...no one can resist a perfectly peaked crown!

Speaking of obsessions, I've been listening to a lot of music lately. It used to be a giant hobby of mine, but in recent years my passion for finding new music that resonates had faded. Perhaps it's because I've been feeling introspective and looking for inspiration; I've been re-inspired by new music. Can't get enough of Angel Haze's #30Gold, her lyricism and talents are proving to be boundless. Warning: she's not for the faint of heart.

What have you been up to lately?

I've been listening to her, too! Love her gutsy stuff. Great post, as well. I love how you got a lot going on but it works - the red tights, dots and florals. I'm trying to learn how to pair more prints together.

  4. I need to get back into finding new music too. I just don't have as much time to keep up with everything.
I absolutely love this outfit. The mix of floral and dots is wonderful. I also really like how perfect your red tights look with those black ankle boots.
