My sartorial tastes seem to flip between two reference points: the nipped waists and demure seduction of 1950s debutantes and pinups and the carefree, youthful exuberance of 1960s schoolgirls and mod ladies. The latest collection from
Orla Kiely (a perennial favorite label) leans towards that girlish mod thing: abbreviated hems teamed with knee socks and sweetly hued accessories.
I am easily swayed by a pastel palette, and the cotton candy hues of the Spring/Summer 2014 line have me lusting after the whole damn collection!
