So This Is The New Year.

Happy Chinese New Year! I'm going for dim sum with some friends today in celebration, I'll be sure to share some photos later this week.

I was oh-so-lucky to go to Squamish and Whistler over the New Year's weekend. I sometimes forget how beautiful British Columbia is: forests, mountains, desert and shores, we've got it all! On New Year's Day my mom and I took a walk around the property of the Hotel. It had been a while since I'd been a forest, it reminded me how much I loved it as a kid. Definitely need to do that more in 2012.

Also going to happen more in 2012: Bettie Page bangs! I've somewhat mastered retro bangs, you can bet I will be rocking this whenever possible. They have the magical ability to make every pair of sunglasses look that much cooler, and add a more "finished" polish to outfits.

    The golden skirt, denim shirt and the fantastic cardigan and pink boots in such a perfect setting made my day.

    you thrifted those boots?? ahh, so jealous, may be possibly my fav pair ever, awesome job! super cute skirt & sweater too. glad you were able to relax in such a beautiful place w/ family- lucky you to have gone here as a kid. happy new year too : )

    You soooooo chic in ear muffs. So amaze. I am officially wearing a denim shirt and mustard skirt tomorrow, and then I will post my outfit and link to this post and talk about how beautiful and arctic chic you are. Arctic chic is our thing now.
