It being a new year and all, I have been thinking about my interiors. Granted, my current living situation isn't necessarily my final abode, but I'd like to make it feel more like my ideal home, rather than just a place I live. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a place filled with all the frills and color of these two?
I love the first two photos! They're gorgeous! I'd love to have my home look like that.

I'd settle for the shoes in the last pic! :)

ooh I want to live in the first photo!
ReplyDeleteI would quite happily live in that first photo even without the wardrobe. The last one is more realistic, and really lovely. Looks much more elegant having it all open that it would having a big wardrobe in the same spot (helps having a wonderful vintage collection too - that amazing red hat!) x
ReplyDeleteThose first two photos are sooo pretty!
ReplyDeletewhat lovely photos! I love the last one most :D
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful. I like the last picture--that looks like something I could actually do!
ReplyDeletei would LOVE a room like in that first pictures. however, that seems very palatial and i'm not sure that'd be in my price range, and those ornate wall paintings might not look as stunning with my 8' ceiling. i love the clothing rack in the last picture though - it would be a fabulous way to plan your outfits for the week!
ReplyDeletethe last photo reminds me of izzy from yeye style blog - personified! And you were so dead on in your comment about cyntia dicker - i couldnt have said it better myself!

ReplyDeleteThe first photo is so beautiful! I was prepared to be ridiculously impressed if that was your room! It makes me think of Shabby Chic Rachel Ashwell. Gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Lydia- I came across your blog in a recent ModCloth Blog post, and I love it! The content is so diverse, and I was attracted to your pithy, witty writing style. I also love your personal style- it's unique and you're not afraid of "the thrifty" (love that outfit where everything is from the U.O. sale section- I live on the Sale section of that the U.O. website!!)
ReplyDeleteThe room in the first photo is DIVINE. I definitely would not mind waking up in that bedroom... Even the bed is "stylishly" sloppy, and still looks luxurious!
